Micro-Climate Weather Data Logger System

For projects that must evaluate changes in temperature, relative humidity and rainfall over a large region, but within a limited budget, Onset data loggers and accessories can be easily configured into a cost-effective, micro-climate weather logger system.

There are a wide range of applications for this type of system in agriculture, civil engineering and environmental monitoring.

The complete system consists of Onset's Data Logging Rain Gauge, HOBO Pro Temp/RH data logger, Solar Radiation Shield, HOBO Shuttle and BoxCar software. A stable mounting location, post, or tripod is required for easy field installation (mounting hardware included with products). Once installed, the loggers are managed as a system using the HOBO Shuttle for field data acquisition and transport, and BoxCar software for logger and shuttle set-up, and post-acquisition data readout and analysis.

When installed and managed together, these products become a rugged, inexpensive micro-climate sensor/logger system solution. For more information, please see the components, part numbers and individual product pricing below.
