Optic Base Station

The Optic Base Station is used to communicate between the host computer* and either an Optic data logger or an Optic Shuttle. The Optic Base Station connects to the computer interface cable included with the software starter kits.

Features

• Used for readout of the StowAway TidbiT  loggers
• Includes Optic Coupler and TidbiT Coupler for connecting the base station to the loggers

* The serial ports on some palmtop and portable computers do not have enough power to communicate through the Optic Base Station. For these cases there is a battery-powered version of the Optic Base Station available (part # DSB).
