Emulsions: Kodak manufactures two nuclear track materials, types NTB-2 and NTB-3, for use in the detection of radio labeled samples in techniques such as in-situ hybridization. These emulsions are specifically designed to:
The emulsions have a high silver-to-gelatin ratio of very fine, uniform silver grains (which results in high resolution), and a very low level of background fog. Emulsions are shipped overnight at ambient temperature, and should be stored between 4C and 13C. Do not freeze them! Autoradiography emulsions generally have a shelf life of four to five months. A 4-oz. container is suitable for coating approximately 200 slides. We recommend Kodak D19 Developer and Kodak Fixer for processing NTB emulsions. We also recommend that you use a Kodak Safelight Filter No. 2 for NTB emulsion experiments. |

| Phosphorescent
Rulers
- Ideal for autoradiography and chemiluminescence 螢光標誌尺
4支/組, 長: 20 cm
( 壓X光片用 ) These rulers utilize a special phosphorescent pigment which traps and releases light, and which can be used for marking autoradiographic film without the need for radioactivity. By placing the ruler in the appropriate position on a blot or gel, and then placing the autoradiographic film flush against it, the ruler will expose a sharp metric image on the film itself (emissions are complete within 15 minutes). They can be used with preflashed film and intensifying screens. The ruler can be re-used indefinitely; simply expose briefly to a light source before use. |

RadTape Plus is a specially engineered phosphorescent tape, which when written on and placed against film, will expose a negative image on it. Simply mark the tape with any black marker, remove the backing, and affix it to a membrane or dried gel. After a brief exposure to a light source, the blot or gel with the attached tape is placed flush against the autoradiographic film and developed as usual in a cassette. The markings on the tape will result in a sharp, permanent image on the exposed film. Consistent film exposure is achieved whether the autorad is exposed for 30 minutes or 30 days. |
